Woohoo!  1000 posts!

1001 after this one I guess.  There are some other milestones I missed because I didn’t see the notification, but not this time.  I just saw it, so wahey!  Let’s party like someone who wasn’t socially awkward and who hates dancing might do!

There was never a theme to this blog in the beginning… just random stuff because I was bored.  It’s become a writer’s blog, as I’m taking that very seriously now that I have some idea of what I’m doing (with still quite a lot of silly and random stuff).  And above are the first avatars I made for some of my own original characters – Jennifer Airhart, Kaya Cade (without her hair dyed), Tenley Tych, Sayuri Oshiro and Doctor Jana Sarkis.  I remember that, since I can’t draw, I thought about messing around with all those dollmaker and dress games to make pics of them, but never really got around to it.  I did do some Poser/Dazstudio, but couldn’t get them quite right.  Especially Kaya (I had a clear picture in my head, but all the textures and colors and the hair kept turning out wrong).

What else has happened since I’ve been on Tumblr… well, I went to a psychologist and was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome.  That was… well, not really surprising to be honest.  Also, my dog Buffy died… 🙁  But, I got a parrot(let)… so, 🙂   Oh, and remember that time I showed you all pictures of my junk? (When I was moving rooms and took pictures of my old books and games and toys.)

And of course, the time I published my first novel…  And it turned out the version I uploaded had loads of mistakes in it and I spent the next year and a half trying to fix them and change other stuff.  That was… a constant headache.  Still, all part of the long learning experice we call life I suppose.  As I mentioned I have learned from the whole experiece and have a slightly better idea of what I’m doing, so hopefully by the time I reach 2000 posts I won’t be apologising for that again.

Otherwise though, just expect more writing and whimsical nonsense.
