Often when I tell people I simply don’t like something, whether it’s a joke, book, game, or TV show, they tell me that it’s because I don’t ‘get it’ or understand it. But I think it’s possible to understand something and still not like it, just like it’s possible to ‘get’ a joke and still not find it funny.
