You know what a smart person would do if there were any actual medical benefit to that?  They’d take it to a laboratory, analyze it, identify the thing that makes you feel better, maybe find a way to synthesise it and put it into a pill or tablet form.  That way,

Meridiem

My upcoming sequel to Jen Air, Asterion, goes deeper into the background of the main characters and we see them all develop and grow in their own ways.  Jen is encouraged to leave the lighthouse more to socialise with people, although she doesn’t really see the point.  Kaya needs to resolve a few issues with her family as well before she can really relax.

They cry because they think someone will come.  But no one comes.  Not to help, anyway.  Not usually.  Best to just take care of things yourself.

Asterion – Chapter Three, Part 2

I think it’s still chapter three anyway.  I haven’t quite organised all of the chapters yet, and this one’s quite long.  Anyway, this is still a draft of course so things may change before the novel comes out.  In the meantime, go check out other adventures with these characters (and I’ve a few other novellas and shorts planned as well).

Asterion – Chapter Three

My New Years resolution is obviously just to write more.  Same as last year, although I didn’t get nearly as much finished as I’d hoped.  Another reason it was a crappy year.  But this year will be different, and I’m sure I will get finished a number of the things I started in 2016.

Still posting some of the opening chapters so far.  As usual these are drafts and subject to change.  I will be getting proofreaders involved, but still feel free to comment with any questions or suggestions or mistakes you may have found.  Other stories are available around the internet.

Asterion – Chapter One, Part Two

Excerpt time!  Usual disclaimer that these are drafts and a lot may change when the story finally published (not sure when – probably early next year).  The first novel and a few novellas are available from lots of places.  And if you’ve no idea what this is then essentially this series is sci-fi adventure about how science and technology is able to give life to human fantasies,

Asterion – Chapter One

Well, the US may not be ready for it’s first woman president, but we are all ready for the best team of all (well, mostly) female nerds who fight science-y crimes and have adventures since… well, since the last one of these.  Here they are still cleaning up a bit after the first novel (which you should definitely get because it’s good).
