Still playing Titan Quest, and I suppose I shouldn’t worry too much about historical accuracy in this game.  After all, this is a version of the ancient world where The Gods and Heroes and Satyrs and Harpies are all very real and physically present in the world.

Also, half the time I play as a female warrior which would have caused quite a stir in the real Ancient Greece.  Even though they had godesses and stories about Amazons and heroes like Atalanta, most ancient Greek women weren’t much better off than slaves and often weren’t even allowed out of the house.  Maybe Spartan women had a greater degree of freedom than most, but that society was messed up in so many other ways.

Still it’s nice to play a game that lets me recall my A-Level in Ancient History.
