What got you into writing? Was it a certain author, a teacher you had in school, something else?

For me it’s pretty boring. I liked the creative writing assignments in school, and that pretty much sparked it.

I think two things; I enjoyed reading since I was very young, and my dad telling us stories every night. He never read a story, we would just tell what we wanted to hear a story about and he would improvise one for us. They usually involved a little boy making a wish then travelling through time to meet famous people and characters.  He’s never written any of them down, although he has written some poetry, so he inspired me to want to be creative.
