So is Jen against all alternative medicine?

No.  She’s only against ‘medicine’ that involves the poaching and slaughter of endangered species, which obviously isn’t good for them or nature as a whole.  And all because of rich idiots from all over paying ridiculous money for something with as much medicinal effect as chewing their own fingernails (Rhino horn is essentially the same stuff your own hair and nails are made out of).  She yes, she feels quite strongly about that.

Crystals on the other hand, are fine, and nice and pretty to look at and don’t do anything any harm.  And as I’ve mentioned before, herbal remedies of course do work.  That’s what most medicinal drugs are – people just took the herbs and plants that had been in use for thousands of years as medicine and just figured out exactly what parts of them had the medicinal effect.
