More Pirates
A little follow up to this post.
Of course, you may be wondering what I was doing on one of those dodgy sites, and I do try to stay away but someone showed it to me anyway. There was also under a download link to my book (which I won’t link to because it’s dodgy), a few obviously fake comments designed to entice people to join the site.
For example, someone called Jenny Martins wrote:
‘Finally I get this ebook, thanks for all these Jen Air: The Little Queen I can get now!‘
Okay… I guess she really liked the cover too. She’s going to print out lots of copies and plaster her walls with it.
And then Markus Jensen writes:
‘I did not think that this would work, my best friend showed me this website, and it does! I get my most wanted eBook
‘
That’s how I know these are fake. Even I can’t imagine this is anyone’s most wanted eBook. But then Michael Strebensen replied:
‘wtf this great ebook for free?!
‘
I know! I can scarcely believe it either!
Then Hun Tsu said:
‘My friends are so mad that they do not know how I have all the high quality ebook which they do not!
‘
Your friends are weird.
‘It’s very easy to get quality ebooks ;)’
Says Tina Milan, obviously not a friend of Hun Tsu. And then Jim Letland just laughs. Seriously, their comment is, ‘
hahahahaha’.
Finally, Lukasz Czaru says:
‘so many fake sites. this is the first one which worked! Many thanks
‘
Certainly would be terrible to run afoul of one of those.
