How will humans react if we discover alien life? This new study just found out (and surprised us)

A new study suggests that, in the event of an extraterrestrial encounter, the rioting and looting would be kept to a minimum — humans would actually react pretty positively to the news. Read more here. 

I think we if we do discover intelligent alien life it’s not going to be anything as dramatic as a spaceship landing on the White House lawn, but radio signals or some other form of communication. Far and distant and not likely to impact to lives of most people very much, at least not for a while. They’ll just read about over coffee in the morning and think ‘oh, that’s nice’ then go drop the kids at school and then to work like usual.
