The world is undergoing an awakening…

Meaning that this reality may be on it’s way to actually becoming the kind of fantasy world dreamed of in fiction and ancient mythology, through science and engineering and other forms of ingenuity.  The ELF’s and Crystal Eggs mean that any new type of lifeform that can be conceived of can be created and grown (the only limits are the laws of physics/nature itself).  It’s possible that some ELF’s may develop some kind of telekinesis which may be passed on to Changeling’s and Humans.  Eventually technology may become so advanced that it’s not only indistinguishable from magic, but seems like just part of the natural ecosystem.

It’s also possible that one of the next books I have planned may be set in that very future…
