I was afraid Wally would turn out to be Savitar.  You know, Savitar trapped him in the speed force where he was psychologically tortured until he becomes Savitar and then reaches back in time so his younger self can take his place in what starting the cycle again but leaving us wondering how did Wally become trapped the first time since Savitar wouldn’t have exisited…

But, thank god they didn’t go with anything that complicated.
