This is obviously one of the books I use when I’m referencing folklore material such as faeries. I’m not sure where or when I got this book actually – it’s just sort of always been around. You can see it’s had some wear and tear to it.  At some point the spine fell off and someone has tried to use tape to keep it on. That’s fallen off now too. I don’t know if this is a first edition – it might well be. It definitely wasn’t me who got it as despite my great wisdom I’m not that old. I assume it belonged to my parents.

Anyway it covers a range of topics. It’s by no means the most comprehensive text on each subject but does manage to cram a fair bit so it’s a good place to start from.
