Are changelings only in North European stories?

There isn’t anything exactly the same in other cultures, but around the world there are lots of stories about creatures or supernatural beings that interbreed with humans or kidnap children and/or replace human beings with some kind of doppelganger. The Filipino Aswang, for example, is a shape-shifting animal that lives like a human during the day but at night hunts and feeds on people, especially children, that it sometimes replaces with a duplicate. Or Chinese water ghosts that drown and possess the bodies of their victims.
