Whatever happened to Nostradamus?

I mean you used to hear about him and his quatrains predicting the end of the world all the time, but not so much now.  I mean I guess a few of them didn’t come true, but still…

Oh wait… here’s an article claiming that old Nostra predicted Donald Trump becoming president and that it will bring about the end of the world.

How to tell if a film is art

People often wonder about this, but really the answer is very simple:

It’s when it has a lot of nudity and sex and is set in the past.  Easy.

Any hot springs show up?

Actually hot springs do get mentioned… but no saucy comedy scene that I’ve found so far.  Dammit Berseria… defying my expectations yet again!

I mentioned the game has flaws, although they’re mostly flaws that are common to most JRPGs.  Level grinding and bits of the game just feeling very repetitive and tedious.

Worst day of king Aelle’s life aka why there’s no battle in 4×18.

According to the sagas, the ‘great heathen army’ didn’t defeat Aelle when it arrived.  They agreed to a truce in which Ivar the Boneless asked for as much land as he could cover in an Ox’s hide in exchange for not attacking.

So, Arrow has started getting all political now with an episode all about gun control.  Admittedly, I live in the UK so it’s not an issue I’ve wrestled with much.  We have some of the strictest gun control laws in the world – so strict that I don’t even know most of them,

America’s involvement in World War I began with the sinking of the British civilian cruise ship Lusitania by a German torpedo in 1915. The German government had warned Britain to suspend tourism during the hostilities, because German ships weren’t going to discriminate between civilian and military vessels when they got trigger-happy.
